I agree with Manilow here. A stiff 2m on decent ground are Foradydeplasterer's ideal conditions so the QMCC is the race for him. Arkle winners that run in this the following year have a pretty good record of late with Azertyuiop, Moscow Flyer and VPU have all taking this the year after winning the Arkle. Flagship Uberalles also won it a few years after his Arkle win. If Master Minded is at his best then Forpadydeplasterer is probably running for 2nd but he's never been out of the first 2 in 8 chases and doesn't know how to run a bad race. I think he's great e/w value at around the 9/1 mark and if Master Minded isn't at the top of his game he looks the most likely to land the spoils.

I have always believed that 2 miles round Cheltenham on good ground is exactly what Forpadydeplasterer needs and backed him accordingly last year for the Arkle at tasty prices.

If Master Minded isn't the horse of the last two seasons and they get 'Paddy' there in rude health I wouldn't look anywhere else for the winner.

I'd be surprised if Master Minded can win again but coming up with a viable alternative looks tough. I'd go with Forpadytheplaster as I think he will improve for racing on good ground.
I couldn't back Twist Magic at 25/1 to win the Queen Mother let alone the single figure quotes I'm seeing at the moment. Twist Magic's Cheltenham record equals: F6F - No thanks!
